Winter House

Like us, were you sad to see the fabulous drama of Bravo’s Winter House come to end? Well fear not, Summer House will be warming up the coldest days of the winter season starting January 17 and while we wait for our Bravo friends to grace our TVs again, why not plan your own Winter House experience in Charleston? Leave the skiing of Stowe behind and instead visit the hometown of two of our Winter House favs, Craig Conover and Austen Kroll. We put together a few recommendations to plan your very own Winter (or Summer!) House experience…

• Gather all of your friends and rent a big house - If you’ve seen the show, you know the home is a critical component of the Winter House experience. Use Airbnb, VRBO, or book direct to find a fantastic vacation rental home with enough room to fit you and all of your friends….hopefully without any gripes about hard mattresses (looking at you, Kyle!)

• Stock up on your favorite beverages…may we suggest Loverboy? - We all know that Loverboy, founded by two of the show’s regulars, Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula, is the drink of choice for the “House” crew. We have taste tested and confirmed that it is a great option, but whatever your favorite drink is for a week of debauchery, don’t forget to stock up!

• Plan a few themed events - What would a week of partying be without a theme? We have seen some great theme ideas on Bravo over the years and no Winter House soiree would be complete without a themed party of your own. Be creative, make it your own, and have a blast dressing up.

• Use Hausguest to take the drama out of your vacation experience - Last but certainly not least, no one wants to be cooking or doing clean up when all you are trying to do is live your Winter House dreams. Book a mid-week cleaning, a private chef, yoga services and more on Hausguest to take all the work out of your vacation…leaving you with more time to spend with your friends deciding who the Lindsay is in your group
